About

Hi there! I'm Natasha. I'm married to a wonderful and gracious man named Jordan and we have a gorgeous baby girl named Reaghan. I'm so glad you're here!

Here's a picture of our little family.

I started this blog to motivate me to create new recipes that I can share with family and friends. I'm in the kitchen daily. Whether it's pancakes on a lazy Saturday morning or nourishing dinners for a full table, I spend a good portion of my days trying new recipes and creating my own. I grew to savor the richness of a meal when it became about bringing people together to bless and serve them more than it was about feeling like I accomplished something.

I want you to cook too. There are many tears (you've never completely ruined a meal before?) and many joys in the kitchen. It doesn't have to be all that hard and it's worth every bit of effort that goes into it. Cooking does not have to be complicated and it does not have to be intimidating. I hope you feel like you're right beside me as we stir up a pot of creamy risotto or braise a hunk of flavorful meat together.

You'll find (mostly) healthy recipes here. I try to use ingredients that are nourishing with little to no ingredients that I can't pronounce. I'll share links to favorite brands along the way to help you find the most wholesome product.

If you ever have a question about a recipe or feel that something is not adequately explained, please leave me a comment and let me know! I am constantly tweaking dishes and would love to hear how a meal fared with you. I also want to hear about your successes and losses in the kitchen. Part of what makes having this blog so fun is getting to interact with YOU!

Although this online space primarily exists to inspire and empower you to get in the kitchen and have fun, bless your people, and grow in the process; I will be sharing bits and pieces of my life as well. Things like hopes for my family, crafts, and helpful hints and encouragement's in motherhood. Consider this a mommy + food blog!
